    • All recording rights remain with the composer.

    • Intended for reference/archival, not broad distribution.

    • If archival recording, it can be posted on platforms like SoundCloud and YouTube but should redirect listeners after 1:30–2:00 of music to your personal website, where the full recording may be hosted.  

    • Suitable for personal websites, portfolio use, and sharing with presenters, festivals or programmers.

    • Can be in hall or studio spaces depending on the project, with and without professional engineer at the discretion of the composer

    Professional (Releasable) Recordings:

    • All recording rights remain with the composer.

    • Recorded in a studio or hall with a professional engineer, editing options, and top-quality production.

    • SoundScore can accommodate any project from a solo performer to larger ensembles and various instrumentations.

    • For orchestral or more complex setups, provide the performing forces (numbers of strings, winds, brass, percussion, etc.) to receive a tailored quote. Click Here.

  • For archival recordings, and because of issues in hearing clearly over internet and through computer or phone speakers, we have found this not to be useful. This is why the One-on-One sessions are so useful as a time to answer questions and try things out between artists and composers.

    For Professional level recordings, composers are always welcome to arrange to be in person for their recording sessions.

  • Yes, if you are say having a quartet recorded and you feel confidently about your writing and understanding of all but 2 of the instruments being used, you can certainly opt not to have sessions with all your artists. On the contrary, if you want to take full advantage of the networking potential for these projects with these elite artsists we strongly recommend you do.

  • Video with audio recordings are offered with single  to multi-camera options.  Multi camera options offer the chance to sync edited audio recordings with the video.  Single cam options will not.
