Since embarking on her own composition career only five years ago, her works have been commissioned and performed by many established ensembles including A Far Cry, the American Brass Quintet, and Roomful of Teeth. Her first composer/performer portrait album recently debuted at #1 on the Billboard traditional classical chart, and upcoming projects include being the composer in residence at Spoleto USA, a concerto for herself to be premiered in Miller Theatre, a song cycle for the National Gallery of Art, and a work for the President’s Own Marine Band.
